My STORM coaster experience.

We just came back from a holiday in the Gold Coast, Australia.  

I faced my fears and went on my first roller coaster with my Dad!  It was called the Storm Coaster and it was at Sea World. First you float down a stream inside a cave like thing. Next you go into the open and start climbing this huge ramp. This was where I started to feel worried!  As we finished climbing the ramp there was a small drop and I thought gosh, that was OK but wondered what is to come? Then we experienced the thrill of being 30 meters above the ground before we plummeted down a huge drop and speedily climbed up again. It felt like we were flying before we hit the water again. Once we hit the water we slowly floated back and hopped off the ride.

When I was in line for the Storm Coaster I noticed a sign on the top of the roof and it said...

"you will get wet you might get soaked".

It was really exciting and I really liked it.   If you go to Sea World  and have the courage to do the Storm Coaster, I hope you like it too. 

Here's a video of what it was like from you-tube and here's a couple of photos Mum took of us going up the ramp and then Dad screaming his head off as we flew into the dark after the big drop (we are right at the back, I am closest, Dad is beside me)!

Dear Room 15 Children and Parents

Thank you so much for making my last few days at KNS so wonderful. It is quite hard for me to express how happy (and sad) you all made me with all your kind words and gestures.

This song is called 'Fearless' by Taylor Swift. This song was made in 2010. I chose this song because in that year, me and my whole family visited four Countries in Europe. This song makes me feel confident about life and about myself. It reminds me to go out proudly into the world and never be shy. This song is about to never be afraid to go out into the world. And yes, I do think   people my age should listen to this song and other songs by Taylor Swift.

Sean's awesome song called PHOTOGRAPH by NICKELBACK

This song is by a Canadian band called NICKELBACK and it is called PHOTOGRAPH. PHOTOGRAPH is from 2005. I like it because it's a rock song and I like rock songs. The song reminds me of when I was a little child and it makes me think about Belgium where I used to lived. It's about someone looking at a photo and thinking about his past and his old home town. I think people my age listen to this band.

Abraham Lincoln (12/2/1809 - 15/4/1865) 56 years old

Was the 16th president of United States, Freed the slaves of America, 2 years later, he became the 16th U S President. He appears on Mt. Rushmore & is a religious president. His assassination happened in Ford's Theatre when watching "Our American cousin" by Thomas Taylor, A fanatical of the southern states named John Wilkes Booth shot Lincoln in the back of the head on April 15th. John died 11 days later caused by a gunshot wound. Abraham Lincoln is one of the most famous presidents for all his bravery to stand up for other people. The American Civil War is also known as The War Between the States. The Lincoln memorial is 30 metres tall & the Lincoln statue is 5.80 metres tall. Abraham's Speeches were: (1858) I believe this government cannot endure permanently half slave & half free. (1863) So the government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.
